The open hand and the hovering bird create an ambiguous commentary on the idea of "free," but what I find even more intriguing is how you've pinned your drawing to the board. It makes me think of pinning a butterfly as a specimen...capturing free beauty just to look at it. I am not sure this was intentional, but for me...it adds another dimension to your very beautifully rendered drawing.
